Ed Sherretta is the Manager of Technology for a suburban school district in the state of Pennsylvania. Ed was previously employed as the Coordinator of Technology for another Pennsylvania school district, as well as Technology Integration Specialist and Computer Science teacher for a third Pennsylvania school district. Ed also taught a computer programming course for Penn State University at their Abington campus. Before moving into the education and technology fields Ed also worked as an account manager and operations supervisor for a freight company. Ed was a Captain in the U.S. Army Reserve and was twice called to active duty serving in Iraq, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Bosnia, Croatia, Hungary, and Germany. Ed obtained his Bachelors degree from Penn State, a Masters degree from Trenton State College (now The College of New Jersey), as well as earning numerous graduate credits beyond his Masters. Ed's certifications include a former certification as a Microsoft Certified Professional and Pennsylvania and New Jersey teaching certificates as well as Instructional Technology Specialist and K-12 Principal certification from the Pennsylvania Department of Eductation.
